Faith Focused

Our work is grounded in a Biblical worldview from the start, not added in as an afterthought.
Clinically Excellent

Address the root of trauma, patterns, and relational dynamics.

Trust Every Therapist
Every clinician is carefully vetted and held to a consistent, high standard of care.

Real Change
We focus on meaningful progress, not just ongoing conversation.
What Sets Us Apart
-
Purpose Counseling is a Christian counseling practice built on the belief that true healing is not separate from God and is possible.
-
We provide trauma-informed, clinically excellent counseling for adults and couples, grounded in a Biblical worldview. This is not something we add in when it is convenient. It is the foundation of how we understand people, suffering, healing, and change.
-
Clients come to us for professional, high-quality care. They stay because the work is both clinically sound and spiritually anchored.

-
We are not a generalized therapy practice that loosely incorporates faith.
And we are not a ministry offering informal support.

-
Every therapist at Purpose Counseling is:
-
Professionally trained and clinically competent
-
Trauma-informed and ethically grounded
-
Carefully vetted to align with the standards of this practice
-
Able to provide care that is both psychologically sound and Biblically rooted
-

-
We hold a high bar for clinical excellence, for integrity, and for the way clients are treated.
To be a trusted counseling practice where adults, couples, and families experience deep healing through Christ-centered care, allowing them to live with purpose and truly enjoy the life God has given them.
Our Values

-
Christ‑centered
Being Christ-centered means we help clients examine their lives through the lens of Scripture, understand their identity in Christ, and align their thoughts, relationships, and decisions with God’s truth.
But above all pursue his kingdom and righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. (Matthew 6:33)

-
Clinical Excellence
We believe that honoring God includes doing our work with skill, diligence, and integrity. Clinical excellence means we are committed to ongoing learning, using evidence-based practices, and providing care that is thoughtful, informed, and effective. Faith does not replace competence. It calls us to a higher standard of it. We take seriously the responsibility of stewarding our clients’ stories well.
Whatever you are doing, work at it with enthusiasm, as to the Lord and not for people (Colossians 3:23)

-
Integrity
We are committed to honesty, transparency, and consistency in every part of our work. Integrity means we do what is right—not what is easy, comfortable, or popular. It shapes how we communicate, how we hold boundaries, and how we care for clients.
The one who conducts himself in integrity will live securely (Proverbs 10:9)
-
Dignity
We believe every person is created in the image of God and therefore has inherent worth, value, and the capacity for choice. Our role is not to control, fix, or force change, but to guide, challenge, and support clients as they take ownership of their lives.
God created humankind in his own image... (Genesis 1:27)

-
Humility
We approach every client with genuine curiosity, not assumption. We do not position ourselves above the people we serve. This means we serve people with different beliefs, backgrounds, and experiences without judgment or agenda. Our faith is not compromised, but it is also not forced. We trust that God is at work, and we remain faithful in how we show up.
In humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. (Philippians 2:3–4)
